OUR STORY
Founded in 1994. Our father started the winery, and today it’s run by the three Frago brothers.
A family legacy. Our grandfather, Don Luis Frago “Pico,” inspired our story. “Pico” in Spanish means someone who talks a lot — and he certainly did!
The team. Diego, Ernesto, and Ricardo Frago lead the winery, together with Joaquim Martin Freixa — our export manager, consultant, and the fourth wheel of this adventure.
ABOUT US
A small family winery. Dedicated to crafting smooth, rich, and velvety wines.
Garnacha at the heart. We also work with a touch of Syrah, Merlot, and Tempranillo.
A journey of patience. Each year brings new challenges — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Driven by passion. Winemaking keeps us moving, learning, and smiling.
SUSTAINABLE
No herbicides. We use inter-row cover crops to control weeds naturally and protect the soil.
Organic matter back to the vineyard. Grape stems and other organic residues are returned to the land as natural fertilizer.
No systemic chemicals. Instead, we use pheromone traps to control grape moths through sexual confusion.
OUR WINES
Gregoriano Blanco. 100% Garnacha Blanca, aged on its lees for extra texture and complexity.
Loteta. A fresh, lively red straight from the vineyard, with minimal intervention.
Gregoriano. Our flagship wine — Garnacha with a touch of Syrah, aged a few months in oak. It shows who we truly are.
Gran Gregoriano. 100% Garnacha, aged in oak barrels for a year, delivering depth and elegance.
CAMPO DE BORJA
A land for Garnacha. Campo de Borja has been recognized as a Denominación de Origen since 1980 and is celebrated for its Garnacha wines.
A climate that shapes character. With low rainfall (350–450 mm) and big day-to-night temperature swings, the grapes develop depth, concentration, and personality.
A rich history. Vine-growing here goes back to the Romans. In the 15th century, the Veruela Monastery planted vast vineyards and guided wine production for centuries, shaping the region we know today.
